Option 1: in the app
- Open HeyReps.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and its data are deleted straight away.
Option 2: without the app
Email info@sparkscaleinnovationsllc.com with the subject “HeyReps account deletion”.
Send it from the email address of the Google or Apple account you signed in with, so we can confirm the account is yours. If you used Apple’s “Hide My Email”, say so and we will help you confirm it.
We delete the account and reply within 30 days, usually much sooner.
What is deleted
- Your account: user ID, email address and name.
- Your backup, if you turned it on: profile answers, workouts, sets, weights, records, plans you follow, custom workouts, pain flags, weigh-ins, and sleep and stress entries.
- Your trainer or gym profile, its photos and cover, and the plans you published.
- Your follows, client and member requests, memberships, rosters, blocks and invite codes.
- Your Gym Buddy team place, check-ins and cheers, and your progress on plans a trainer or gym assigned you.
- If you used Sign in with Apple, the app’s access to your Apple ID is revoked.
What is kept, and for how long
- Reports you filed about other profiles stay with our moderation team, with your identity removed.
- Purchase records held by Apple, Google and our subscription provider are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Backup deletion markers are purged from our servers within 180 days.
Data on your phone
Most HeyReps data, including your cycle, pregnancy, Ramadan and health-app data, was only ever stored on your phone and never on our servers. Uninstalling the app deletes it. Data the app wrote to Apple Health or Health Connect stays there, and you can delete it in those apps.
Delete only your backup
To keep your account but remove your backup from our servers, turn backup off in the app’s Settings. The copy on our servers is deleted, and your phone keeps its own.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it on iPhone in Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or on Android in Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
